    Leaves are so long and wide. If you want thickness, water 1 day earlier than your normal routine. Test that a few times and if they aren't at your desired thickness, then try another day earlier and see the effects after 2 months. I understand that they can get root rot if it always has water, but there's somewhere in between that can really make them plump. Even if you don't do this, your aloe is impressive as it is.

    Dear Nell, I have been following your channel for years now and the way you explain plant care is not just technical, it just soothes the soul. Thank you so much for your videos and your sense of humour. I was for the first time in the USA and beautiful Arizona a couple of months ago and I thought „this is where Nell lives“ 🙂 Thank you for all the useful videos and your friendly and down-to-earth way of explaining plant care.

    I've had one since 1996 when my ex fiance gave me ine as a birthday gift .They're definitely pretty easy to care for I like putting them on the backside of my aquariums with the roots immersed in the water via little basjets that clip on the inside of tank and then just watch em grow .They live the nutrient rich water and the fish benefit from the filtration they provide for the water .I've loat track hiw many cuttings I've given away to friends and family 🤣

    Has anyone grown this tree in a large pot? I'm zone 5 and have one in a large clay pot. My questions are whether I should being the pot into the garage for winter and should I fertilize it since it's in a pot? Sometimes throughout the summer the leaves turned a little yellow and would drop. It gets full afternoon sun.

    I really enjoy your channel because you’re so relaxed and seem to really know what you’re doing. You don’t speak in a manic cadence, which I do myself, so I find you to be calming. Your plants are so healthy looking and you seem so organized and put together. You are my favorite channel. I truly have no extra money now to buy a book from you, I start a new job next week and I have catch up to do. I just wanted you to know that you should continue what you’re really good at. I could listen to you for a few hours, but I better start moving my body or I’m toast.

    I remember you talking about these a few years ago, I think along with the others you had. Following your advice, it worked exactly as you said. I've had the same mother plant for at least four years now, it had a pup very soon after the flower died. They seem to have a very slow metabolism. They've been in front of a North window for almost 3 years now, which seems to do fine. Yours is much larger and nicer, which is likely due to care. These are so much easier than air plants! Thank you for the videos.

    • @JoyUsGarden
      @JoyUsGarden 6 днів тому

      Hi, Yes, I made a video similar to this years ago. It takes the pups 3-5 years to flower, so it's a slow process. Air plants can be tricky indoors - these are so much easier. Thanks for watching all these years, much appreciated! Nell 🥰
